    Surgery has advanced significantly over the last 100 years, especially in organ transplantation. Pankaj Chandak charts a journey of progressive innovation from the early times of Listerian surgery to the challenges facing modern day surgeons and scientists. He highlights the advances in minimally invasive surgery, 3D printing and machine perfusion technology in organ transplantation.

    Pankaj Chandak is the winner of the British Science Association’s Charles Darwin Award Lecture for agricultural, biological & medical sciences. This event is supported by Arm.
