Wed 12 Sep • 19:30 – 21:00

Learning Centre • The Deep

Organised by:
  • British Science Association
  • Zoological Society of London
  • Suitable for: 16+

Join the ZSL team, Rob Deaville, Matthew Perkins and Charlotte Coales, for a unique opportunity to watch a live cetacean dissection. Explore why whales, dolphins and porpoises (cetaceans) strand around the UK’s coast, and what role we play in these strandings. Learn more about the threats they face in UK waters and how examinations like this can help scientists answer these questions.

Please note: Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for people who are pregnant or immuno-compromised.

This event is part of The Deep late. You will need to book a suitable entry slot to ensure access to the rest of The Deep and associated events as part of the late on the event page.
