  • Suitable for: 16+

Satellites used to monitor the natural world have transformed our knowledge of Earth’s wildlife and habitats. They are a non-invasive way to capture highly detailed images of inaccessible environments. Hull marine biologist Rodney Forster and social media expert Carol Wright will talk satellite launches, marine biology and will show you the North Sea from space.

Rodney Forster is based at the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Hull. Much of Rodney’s work is applied ecology – working with industry and government to understand, use and protect our seas.
