  • Suitable for: All ages

Which animal can be boiled, frozen, poisoned or exposed to radiation and still survive? Meet the tardigrade. Less than a millimetre long, tardigrades are the champions of survival, they can even endure the vacuum of outer space, but you are more likely to find them in your own backyard or on your roof. Hunt for tardigrades and observe the fascinating biology of these charismatic creatures in this hands-on microscope workshop.

Three drop in workshops at 13.30, 14.10 and 14.50.

Event booking has closed for 2017. We hope you enjoyed the Festival. Join us next year!
